2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2007
Warm amber and a nice, golden head. The aroma is typical for a lager, but the flavour surprises me! The mouthfeel is rather full and there are nice notes of aroma hops, malt, caramel and the finish is nice and citrussy - but not in the hash grapefruit way, that I found in other beers from this brewer.

Bottle from a mix box at the Roseville BevMo - labeled Adirondack Lager. Pours copper amber with a fizzy off-white head. Sort of a warm caramel aroma. Med body. Flavor is caramel with some light grassy hop. Smooth. Soothing even. Not exciting.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 madsberg (8939) - Søborg, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2006
Lidt karamel. Er let bittersød i enden. Let at drikke.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2003
Clear, orange ale. Small, fizzy, white head. Good lacing.
The nose is soapy and beefy.
Well-balanced, crisp, tangy flavor. A bit grassy.
Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.
Not a bad example of the style, but not a good one either. Not one of my favorite styles to begin with, but a good Summer thirst quencher!
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeMcPhee (7671) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2007
12 oz bottle. Rich amber beer with a thick white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, showing noble/spicy hops over a soft nutty caramelly malt character. The aroma is hoppy but the flavour is substantially sweeter than the aroma suggests, leaning toward the malty side. Malts are bready sweet and slightly nutty, but still pretty tasty. A surprisingly decent Vienna.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerandBlues2 (7466) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JAN 3, 2005
Pours copper with a small off-white head that soon dissolves into an even smaller patchy head. Fast rising bubbles are numerous. Lightly soapy malt aroma with a faint hop nose. Medium hoppiness in flavor with a hint of yeast. Thin falling lacing. Palate is dry and medium-bodied. A very drinkable beer.
