COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Perhaps the most standard Saranac brew. A nice sipping lager to savor in the Central NY region. Pours a light amber tone with a medium head. Hoppy aroma and a flavor of malts and mild caramel. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Shawn. Thanks! Light amber pour with a white head. Nose is rather seltzery. Some grain, grass, and toasted bread. Mild yeast, soap, and a hint of floral hops. The flavor is really just fizzy and abrasive. Seltzer water, grain, floral hops, and grass. Light toast, soap, bread, and yeast.

Bottle. Nice amber colour with a medium fair lasting head. Aroma of malt, hoppy with a bit of caramel. Nice flavour of malt, nice fruitiness, some caramel. Little bitterness in the malty finish. Fresh and tasty brew.

Lidt karamel. Er let bittersød i enden. Let at drikke.

Warm amber and a nice, golden head. The aroma is typical for a lager, but the flavour surprises me! The mouthfeel is rather full and there are nice notes of aroma hops, malt, caramel and the finish is nice and citrussy - but not in the hash grapefruit way, that I found in other beers from this brewer.

Pours copper with a small off-white head that soon dissolves into an even smaller patchy head. Fast rising bubbles are numerous. Lightly soapy malt aroma with a faint hop nose. Medium hoppiness in flavor with a hint of yeast. Thin falling lacing. Palate is dry and medium-bodied. A very drinkable beer.

Clear, orange ale. Small, fizzy, white head. Good lacing. The nose is soapy and beefy. Well-balanced, crisp, tangy flavor. A bit grassy. Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not a bad example of the style, but not a good one either. Not one of my favorite styles to begin with, but a good Summer thirst quencher!
