COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Clear, orange ale. Small, fizzy, white head. Good lacing. The nose is soapy and beefy. Well-balanced, crisp, tangy flavor. A bit grassy. Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not a bad example of the style, but not a good one either. Not one of my favorite styles to begin with, but a good Summer thirst quencher!

Bottle. Yellow port. Light head. Malty and grainy aroma. Nothing amazing here. Grains, boring hops, bitter. Meh.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of BLACKIPA!!!!!! EYE OF THE SPONGER!!! FUCKEN A BRO!!!! Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Toasted malty, caramel, fairly dry, herbal, lightly grainy aroma. Lightly fruity, caramel, a touch nutty, mildly hoppy flavor. Cool name, not so cool flavor. Cheers Michael James!

355mL with Eye of the Sponger custom label thanks to womencantsail via BlackIPA. For real, there is a SpongeBob on this official beer label. Pours a sparking clear amber with medium off white foam. Spotty lacing. Nose is honey, sweet cherry, sugar, more of a fake dish soap cherry. Taste is soapy, honey, wheat bread crust. Soapy and dry palate with a suddy hydrogen peroxide thing going on.

Nice amber pour in the glass with good size white head. Nose and taste of lightly toasted malts and little bitter. Rated 10/18/2000

12 oz bottle. Rich amber beer with a thick white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, showing noble/spicy hops over a soft nutty caramelly malt character. The aroma is hoppy but the flavour is substantially sweeter than the aroma suggests, leaning toward the malty side. Malts are bready sweet and slightly nutty, but still pretty tasty. A surprisingly decent Vienna.

Very malty and mellow, a great cigar beer. Nothing too complex going on here, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Medium creamy head and sweet aroma.

355ml bottle bought at the USA Bar, BSF, GBBF 09. Off-white, or yellowish, head with spotty lacing over a crystal clear, amber body. Inviting smell of fruit-malty sweetness. Caramel and toffee malts in flavour with a welcoming bitter end to keep some of the malty sweetness at bay. Soft in the mouth. Tasty vienna lager (Hotel room, Earls Court 05.08.2009).
