2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, orange ale. Small, fizzy, white head. Good lacing.
The nose is soapy and beefy.
Well-balanced, crisp, tangy flavor. A bit grassy.
Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.
Not a bad example of the style, but not a good one either. Not one of my favorite styles to begin with, but a good Summer thirst quencher!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Rich amber beer with a thick white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, showing noble/spicy hops over a soft nutty caramelly malt character. The aroma is hoppy but the flavour is substantially sweeter than the aroma suggests, leaning toward the malty side. Malts are bready sweet and slightly nutty, but still pretty tasty. A surprisingly decent Vienna.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Yellow port. Light head. Malty and grainy aroma. Nothing amazing here. Grains, boring hops, bitter. Meh.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of BLACKIPA!!!!!! EYE OF THE SPONGER!!! FUCKEN A BRO!!!! Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Toasted malty, caramel, fairly dry, herbal, lightly grainy aroma. Lightly fruity, caramel, a touch nutty, mildly hoppy flavor. Cool name, not so cool flavor. Cheers Michael James!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden yellow, nose of wheat, pale and sour hops and a even malt body. More of a grainy flavor, with a almost sour fruit finish which isn’t very pleasent... good bitterness.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle post GBBF, Day 2, August 2009 as Saranac Adirondack Lager. Dark gold/orange colour. Biscuity malt predominant. Just a hint of vague grassy hop on the palate. A straightforward and inoffensive amber-ish lager. Not much else to say.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A standard amber, with typical amber taste overtones. Not great, not bad, middle of the road. Subtle caramel, toffee, and malt flavors. Good complexity.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Dark amber body with a small white head. Oddly sweet aroma, dilute toasted malt. Very light bitterness, lightly astringent toasty malt feels wan and dilute. Average to light palate. DNF.
