Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Not as complex and distinctive as I like, but a solid, inexpensive amber lager.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2005 Very nice dark amber color. Good carbination and usual head for the type. Surprised by the complexity of flavor for a lager. Good amber lager.

I got this from the winter pack (under the name Adirondack Lager). This has a nice amber color though the head is nearly non-existant. The aroma is cool and refreshing like a morning stroll through the mountains of the same name. The flavor is a light sweetness, not too hoppy, and the aftertaste is sweet with no signs of bitterness. Enjoyed from a briefly chill pint glass, this was a nice beer.

OK not great. Taste was the Amber standard. Not impressed by the small head that was flat in no time.

nice golden look to this winter beer. this is actually my first Vienna. the hops are very light in flavor. plus the head dissappers too fast.

Nice malty carmel aroma light amber in color with a nice white head that left a fair amount of lace.Taste wise was kind of oily malt taste with not much hops. I agree with some other reviews that something is missing from this brew. Overall a decent beer that's easy to drink.

Light amber in color with a light and white head. The aroma is only very faint and the taste is of diluted with malts with some bitterness. Not much to write about. It is by no means an interesting beer.

Good but not great. Nothing to distinguish itself. It seems to be a space filler in their lineup. Do not go out of your way to find it.
