Our Saranac Belgian Style Pale Ale is made with 2-raw barley and traditional european malts. Brewed with a perfect balance of malt and hops, this is a "sessionable" Belgian style ale. Look for a light amber color and a distinctive fruitiness from the Belgian yeast used in fermentation. Consumed by Belgians as an "everyday" beer, this style will quickly become your winter go-to!

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeast balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Thanks to spinrsx for this. Pours clear golden with a small white top. Aroma is yeast and bready malts. Taste is a bit oxidized but big yeast and bready malts.

12 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have light Belgian yeast, mild spice, somefrui ty character, grass. Much like the others, it is not bad, just forgettable.

Bottle: Pours clear, brassy gold with a small, white head. Yeast, banana, wheat aroma. Taste is the same, mildly spiced with cloves... fruity. Decent.

Appearance is similar to that of a domestic macro. Aroma wreaks of wheat and dryness, with a hint of citrus. Taste is very clean, only a little bitter... sweet and dry, all at the same time.

Bottle->Trappist. Clear gold with moderate white head. Has all the expected Belgian components: yeast, spice, banana, clove, grains. But muddy and contrived. Not good.

Simple Belgian pale ale. Not a great deal of flavor or aroma. Very basic beer.

Has some Belgian yeast aromas and flavors. Some banana nutty flavors and aroma. A bit watery on the palate, but a nice beer for saranac. But of an odd bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Some fruity yeast esters and hop aroma, pours a clear light amber, with a thin white head. Straw hop notes, with a dry finish. Light in body, with just a touch of the promised Belgian notes. Not a bad session ale.

Bottle at holiday party. Pours pale orange with white head. Nose is yeasty and of bananA. Tastes of Belgian yeast, floral, bananas, vanilla, some citrus hints. Ok
