COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Saranac Belgian Style Pale Ale is made with 2-raw barley and traditional european malts. Brewed with a perfect balance of malt and hops, this is a "sessionable" Belgian style ale. Look for a light amber color and a distinctive fruitiness from the Belgian yeast used in fermentation. Consumed by Belgians as an "everyday" beer, this style will quickly become your winter go-to!

From a bottle this is pale yellah, not like a wit beer. Now I see its simply Belgian pale ale, not white beer. Thin head. Sweet aroma. Decent watery Belgian creamy thing. Yes, good creamy co2. Fairly mild and easy going, enjoyable. Easy to take and rather friendly. Aroma is mildly sweet and perfumy, good overall beer experience.

Bottled from BevMo. Medium/light golden in color. Nose is fairly grainy with a bit of a banana/clove yeast aroma. Grainy up front with a some hops popping up. A little yeast and spice as well.

Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Its nose is Belgian yeast. The palate is medium body with sweetness, malty, and a faint bitterness.

Bottle, part of a sampler pack. Had a little bit of the Belgian yeast flavor, slightly sweet, almost sugary at times. Kinda one dimensional with the sweet flavor, not much in it otherwise. Decent but not great.

From a bottle. Pours clear dull gold with a thin white head and some lacing. Tastes sweet, nutty, malty, with hints of bubblegum and banana. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like malt and musk. Light/medium smooth body and low carbonation.

Sour taste is overpowering from start to finish. Other flavors are hard to detect past the ultra sour flavor, there is yeast, wheat, white bread, some hops bitterness at the end. This beer is not for me.

Pours a bubbly blonde with a foamy white head. Aroma is banana and bubblegum. Very nice on the nose. Flavor isn’t quite as robust as the aroma. Taste is like a German hefe that has been over hopped. Not bad, but this could have been better.

Bottle from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours dark straw with off-white head and a lot of carbonation. Nose is bready pale malt, hopcitrus, some yeast. Tastes of hopcitrus, mildly fruity, with pale malt and yeasty notes.
