COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Saranac Belgian Style Pale Ale is made with 2-raw barley and traditional european malts. Brewed with a perfect balance of malt and hops, this is a "sessionable" Belgian style ale. Look for a light amber color and a distinctive fruitiness from the Belgian yeast used in fermentation. Consumed by Belgians as an "everyday" beer, this style will quickly become your winter go-to!

Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Sampled on 3/21/2014. This Belgian Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, floral and spicy with a touch of yeast. A medium to light bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, some tropical, some peach. The hops are herbal and a touch citrusy. Decent carbonation. A little yeasty, a touch thin and it finishes a touch sweet. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

12 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have light Belgian yeast, mild spice, somefrui ty character, grass. Much like the others, it is not bad, just forgettable.

kramer (4859) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body with a small frothy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is very light, just a little bit of hoppiness and some minimal bready malt and a light yeastiness. The flavor is a bit on the non-descript side, not much of anything really sticks out. There’s a big of light yeast, some light floral hops, bready maltiness, but nothing that really excites you or catches your attention. Light bodied with a watery texture and fizzy forced carbonation. Rather boring beer overall.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4785) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden-amber color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was yeasty and a bit musty with notes of pepper and citrus. The flavor was dryish, yeasty, musty and had light notes of pepper, citrus and sulfur. Long dry, musty sulfur finish. Medium body. Not good at all- like most Belgian Pale Ales.
