tgncc (295), Bellmore, New York, USA Sep 21, 2008 Dusty, grainy, yeasty aroma. Appearance is golden in color, thin head, particulate matter clearly visible. Flavor is slightly citrusy, spicy, mainly coriander, but is not particularly strong. The finish is very light, mainly a faint sign of hops. Ok for what it is. BillWyce (28), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 6, 2008 Bottle poured into English pint. Hazy
amber with lots of bubbles but oddly
very little head. Citrusy aroma with
some spice behind it. Taste is similar-
orangey with some spice in the
background. pretty light palate. Nothing
to write home about-definitely not a
great Belgian White, but you could do
worse for a drinkable summer beer. 502Flavors (267), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Sep 5, 2008 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Hazy golden pour with descent white head that fades fast and leaves no lace, unfortunately. nice refreshing wheat aroma with some clove and ginger notes - very soft aroma but nice. Taste is also refreshing and enjoyable, though very simple and very soft - same notes as flavor, with a bit of orange on the finish also. No alcohol presence in flavor. Light on the palate with the right amount of carbonation, highly drinkable. Overall: solid brew, nothing wrong with it, but could definitely be a bit more outgoing. Nice for the summer. Dacrza (164), Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA Aug 31, 2008 Lemony orange body... mild effervescence and slightly opaque apprearance... soapy-sudsy head settles nicely into a one-finger white cloud--a good start... bright perfumy initial smell with clove and lemon zest arriving on second inspection... fresh hay scents as well--little hop, zero malt here... medium-bodied, moderately fizzy palate... tickles the teeth with a light soda mouthfeel... little aftertaste... a fizzy, fruity combination tat refreshes, but as a wit has a strange berry finish, almost like pomegranate from the sampler (is this the spice? coriander?)... the beer arrives as an italian soda...and I’m not interested in fruit beers unless they wear the fruit on their sleeves--a bit of licourice and apple late (?) don’t constitute complexity to me... dkachur (869), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 29, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Slightly hazy orange with almost no head. Yeast aroma with a candy-like sweetness. Flavor is pretty much the same. Little spice is evident. Watery.
