COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Blueberry Blonde Ale is a traditional blonde with a kick of juicy blueberry. You’ll notice a light golden haze from wheat malt and oats and a low hop bitterness, which really shows off the fruit. With a medium-light body and fresh blueberry flavor, we’re sure we’ve captured refreshment in a bottle! Cheers!

Pours a cloudy golden color. Smell is bursting with blueberries. Taste is subdued compared to the smell. Some blueberry, a bit of bitterness at the finish. Overall a refreshing summertime beer.

12 ounce bottle from Saranac 12 Beers Of Summer variety pack purchased from Sams Club. Hazy gold/amber color, fairly strong aroma of blueberries with a malt liquor-like smell, small white head that slowly left with good lacing, medium bittersweet flavor with bluebeery less prominent than in the nose. Something seems a little off but an OK hot weather refresher.

Slight blueberry taste, very light blonde ale otherwise. I had it in the middle of winter, suppose its probably more enjoyable during summer.

Bottle from Total Wine & More in McLean, VA. Needed my 100th NY rating so I picked this up. Probably could have made a better choice. Hazy dirty gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is faint blueberry and not so faint vomit. Taste isn’t too bad, but the palate is fairly thin and undercarbonated.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium golden with a soft snow white head that sticks around a while. Aroma of blueberry waffles and yeast. Flavor is surprisingly crisp with some blueberry syrup, a hint of fresh blueberries, some yeasty notes and a hint of raw cookie dough. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Pleasantly surprised - not overly sweet and cloying.
