3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From bottle. Caramel aroma with a hint of chocolate. Taste is caramel, toffee, and more caramel. Caramel over powers. A little thin but goes down easy. Ok. A bit to sweet.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
This was the first beer I ever had to spit out. The caramel is sickening and barely tasted like caramel, more like a syrup.

A: Dark Brown/Reddish hue, mild White Head, and almost no lacing.

Overall, WAY TOO MUCH CARAMEL...almost fake taste.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
November 2011. From bottle. Average and a bit on the boring side. Dark brown with a tan head. Malty aromas with caramel, chocolate and dark fruit. Drinkable, but not exciting.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Appearance: Pours a fluffy 2” off white head recedes slowly leaving faint lacing. Color is deep ruby red but mostly opaque, moderate carbonation bubbles visible.
Aroma: if you like caramel you should love the smell of this beer. Aroma is exactly like Brach’s caramel cubes with some toasted barley malt and earthy hop in the background.
Mouthfeel: Fairly light and watery, especially for the style. Finish is dry.
Flavor: caramel dominates along with licorice, toasted bread, mild hop presence
Overall: This is a good beer. Not outstanding but nothing here really excites me. Most memorable aspect is the caramel which I have never found more intense in any other beer. I love caramel, but in this beer it could use a little balance.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
From bottle to pint glass. Aroma of caramel syrup. Pours a clear chestnut brown with ivory head that fades quickly. Taste is slick, caramel and cola. Sweet malt at the end and a dry finish. Mouthfeel is very thin.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and caramel malts, light hops, and some dough. Flavor the same with a lot of caramel. Average texture. Interesting but not the best porter.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12oz served in a Great Divide Pint glass.
A - Pours a clear chestnut red with a bumpy tan head that sinks quickly.
S - Caramel candies jump right out, syrupy malt, not much else.
T - Candy caramel mixed with an undesirable malt, slightly roasted some soured fruit rides underneath, a roasty bitterness on the finish.
M - Medium body, slick feel, semi dry finish.
This taste like an underwhelming homebrew with added candy caramel. Super sweet, slick, and kinda makes you shiver as it goes down.
Serving type: bottle

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Too light of a body. Definitely can taste the caramel notes which I do like. A ad bit too sweet. Great idea but certainly not perfected.
