2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ZR2Blazer (87) - Christiansburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 21, 2009
Bottle – Pours medium dark amber, low caramel colored head. I found this to be a very easy beer to drink. The Bitter hops finish clean and leave a nice aftertaste, but not near as strong as other hoppier American Pale Ale’s. For me, this would not be a go-to beer, but it’s a good change.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a finger or so of head. Aromas of apple juice with a little bit of hops. Astringent alcohol shines through a lackluster body of caramel malt and spice. This just isn’t a very good ESB.
