COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bitters are popular pub beers in England and are closely related to the more well known pale ales. Saranac Extra Special Bitter has a rich, maltytaste balanced by the pleasant bitterness of Willamette hops. The finish is dry with a hint of the floral english Fuggle and spicy Saaz hop. Enjoy!

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle no. 2678-U801. No expiration date listed. The pour is a rather brown-orange, which is handsome in its way but not as dark as better ESB’s. Virtually zero head or lacing. The aroma is of malts and grains and mildly spiced. Average mouthfeel. The flavor is initially malted and ends weakly with bitter hops. Rather dull overall but drinkable..
