Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of carmel, grapefruit, orange zest, pine and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, grapefruit, pine, orange zest and light earthiness with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

BrewIPA (83) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 21, 2012
12oz bottle, pours red/orange with thick fine-bubbled head. Strong aroma, what I want in an IPA. Very hoppy, in a good way. A very nice IPA that I will buy again.

coolpop (1395) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle. Pours orangey amber with a medium-sized off-white head and some good lacing. Aroma is very muted -- some toffee and piney hops. Flavor is bigger, but itís still very mild for a IIPA. Oddly, the sweet, fruity malt (cherry, raisins) dominates the hops. Didnít find the flavor very complex. Came out a bit more as it warmed, but still not there for me. Mouthfeel was thick and sticky.

Tap: Murky gold-brown color with a frothy, creamy head followed by super sticky lacing everywhere. Odd aroma with sour tastes like bad celery. Thin body unlike other good 2IPAs. Basically, a waste of hops and a waste of my friendís money who was kind enough to buy me a pint.

Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Bottle thanks to bhensonb. Poured amber with a white head that lasted and laced the glass. Aroma was caramel, pine, nail polish remover, and Orange. Flavor was pine, very fruity, alcohol, slightly spicy and citrus. Body was full with low sift creamy carbonation.

Countbeer (4483) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2011
Bottle: Medium pretty vast white head on top of a clear yellow golden colored beer. Smell hops and honey and a hint of citrus. Taste hops, bitter, some honey and sweets, with hints of butter and herbs. Soft light grape herby hoppy aftertaste. Low carbo, medium body, soft mouthfeel and a watery texture.

Cybercat (3341) - Georgia, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Comes out of the tap a hazy, opaque dark amber with a thick and fine-bubbled pale tan head. Strong aroma is completely like fresh-cut evergreen wood. Seriously hoppy gives the impression of drinking a pine tree - but lacks any real complexity. Full-bodied texture is rough and quite fizzy, leaving behind an evergreen and tingly finish.
