Pours a slightly hazy amber/color with about an inch of head. Aroma is caramel malt and bread. Taste follows the nose and is sweet with just a hint of bitterness. Body is medium and somewhat chewy. This is not what I expected from the style and is definitely more slanted towards the east coast/English style. If I didnít know any better I would think this was a barleywine. This is a below average DIPA.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a thin white film of carbonation. Aroma is caramel with a strong presence of pine hops. Medium-full body, there is a bit of thickness with it. Taste leans heavily to the hop side with the caramel as a backbone. Finish is bitter and slightly dry.

4 pack on clearance from Jungle Jimís eastgate. Saranac High Peaks Imperial IPA is a hazy honey golden beer with a thin persistent head of tiny white bubbles. Nose is a mild musty hop with a hint of sweet malts. Taste is initally a bit underwhelming. A little sharp hops, malty earthiness and a bit of subtle sweet malt. Body somewhat flat and fluid. Finish is just a bit bitter. a bit of a disappointing beer.

Pours amber orange with a small slightly off white head. Aroma is citrus, caramel and earthy. Taste is bitter with some acidic tartness. Medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Overall this decent imperial IPA but it is more malt heavy then expected.

Clear golden copper pour with an off white soapy head and decent lacing .... Aroma of rich caramel malts, floral, dank hops and light citrusy pine ..... Taste is of rich caramel malts, bitter dank and floral hops, light citrusy pine with the ibuís biting on the backend .... Finish is dry and bitter with a bit of warming .... Body is medium to full ... Mouthfeel is a little slick .... Feels like there should be way more abv to this one

This is a well balanced imperial ipa. It has a sweet finish that helps t o round out the hops. I recommend that you try this.

Undated bottle. Pours golden with a fluffy white head that leaves behind some lacing. Smell is sweet and malty; caramel malt, grassy/herbal hops, maybe a hint of tropical fruit. Taste is sweet and malty up front followed by an assertive bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bitter finish.
