Also plenty of sweet licorice, coffee and alcohol. Some malt bitterness in the finish. A very straight and well composed Imperial Stout. 190908

Sep 26, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very black, rich firm head. Citric tarry nose. Sticky unrefined body with lots of syerup and licorice. Rough and tarry with fairly low bitterness. A mess.

Sep 30, 2008 Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, nuts and some dark dry fruits. Also some mild notes of fresh wood. Flavour is hops, caramel, alcohol, raisins and mild nuttyness. Wellbalanced.
