12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is mostly malts (unusual for an IPA) with some hops (not a whole lot). Taste is also mostly sweet caramel, some citrus notes and a slight bitterness towards the end. It doesn’t tastes bad but it is unusual flavor for an IPA.

Aromas of floral, citrusy, grassy hops, and toasty, nutty, toffee-like malts, almost paralleling a light barleywine. Clear copper with a mostly lasting, bubbly, white head. Dry and bitter, with flavors of citrus fruits and bread crust. Medium body, refreshing carbonation, and a snappy hoppy finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jmgreenuk (1374) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Kermis at the NS2 tasting. Poured a clear amber with a big white frothy head. The aroma is rich and hoppy leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour. This beer is nice enough but lacks the bitterness you would expect from an IPA.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kermis (2602) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2013
Bottle shared at NS tasting #2. Pours amber with a thick tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, light citrus, really hop lacking. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. Certainly not unpleasant, but lacking compared to other beers of the style.

Garbage, just pure garbage. One of the worst saranac beers. If you can avoid it, do so.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 cleverlobo (296) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle; copper clear, small beige head; aroma-very pleasant, caramel, hay, citrus, honey; taste-light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, lively, bitter finish. The aroma is really what makes this beer, accessible IPA but rather light on the taste.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lightrider (186) - Bristol, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle into a goblet. Pour is a dark amber gold with a fine head. Aroma is light hop and co2. Taste is a nice bitter washed out with co2. Finish is a co2 bitter. Not a bad ipa for the cost.
