cjw163 (109), hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 10, 2008 12 oz from variety pack. Pours, smells and tasted just like an average IPA. Very hoppy! If you like IPA then you will like... I don’t so I didn’t like it but would drink if it was the last beer in my frig.
zappafan99 (322), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Sep 4, 2008 Taste 9/8 Bottle(?date). Looks: Cooper body, white thick foam. Aroma: Mild citrus, floral and pine hops. Some caramel malt. Taste: Weakened version of the real thing. Not bad, not good. GMUcrew7 (183), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 29, 2008 2nd pour from a 6-pack mix, copper color with a white head. If this was a blind pour I don’t think I would have thought it was an IPA, very mild malt and hop aroma. Flavor is better, pretty good balance, nice caramel malt with a decent hop presence. Not a bad beer, but really isn’t a very good representation of the style. dkachur (778), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 29, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Reddish amber pour with a 2-finger head. Good retention and lacing. Leafy, vegetal hop aroma. Bitter citrus hop taste turns more leafy in the finish. Some caramel malt is there. Watery in spots. rds (92), USA Aug 27, 2008 A golden clear brew with a slight hop aroma, but the flavor is both too hoppy and too weak somehow; needs a bit more of a spicy bite. nqualls (205), Tennessee, USA Aug 20, 2008 Everything about this beer is middle of the road. 12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. Poured a clear gold/amber color with two fingers of head. Lacing was heavy. Aroma was of malt and very faint piney and citrus hops. Flavor was somewhat more bitter, with little malt balance. Very light bodied beer with high carbonation. This was just a little too bland. Not a bad beer by any means, just not an exclusive, upper end IPA.
