2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 smith4498 (2150) - Miami, USA - NOV 8, 2009
Pours clear copper color with off white head. Pine hop aroma with some maltiness. Flavors of slightly bitter hoppines with some sweet malts. Medium body with average carbonation.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rangerred (203) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - JAN 27, 2012
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance is a hazy dark yellow with a solid one finger head. Good lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
Smell is heavy on the grapefruit with some caramel malt detectable as well.
Taste is really a bit muddled. A hint of grapefruit hop flavor followed by lots of bitterness. There is a decent caramel malty backbone but also this odd chlorine flavor that reminds me of pool water. Bitterness holds strong through the finish but little hop flavor.
This beer misses the mark for me. There is too much bitterness but not nearly enough hop flavor and aroma.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Scrapersnbeer (217) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 22, 2012
This should be a straight pale, as it isn’t bitter or hoppy enough for the India designation. Rusty yellow color, mild lacing. Smells like American hops, though not excessively so. Tastes bitter but oddly watered down. Very easy drinking as a result. Saranac just gets another beer on base, but wasn’t swinging for the fences anyway.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 rabbe7000 (8) - Maryland, USA - JAN 17, 2012 does not count
Citrus aroma that’s not particularly complex. A rich golden color that develops a very foamy almost solid head which dissipates quickly. Taste: not much ’bite’ that many IPAs have, not overly bitter or hoppy really. Very smooth the whole way through, which seems odd for an IPA.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jabic (139) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Ar: Grapefruit rind of medium intensity.
Ap: Copper-orange, crystal clear - large off-white head with good retention and very sudsy lacing.
T: Medium caramel and grapefruit up front - medium and very clean bitterness - finish is a mix of citrus, spicy bitterness, and caramel.
P: Medium body with medium carbonation - finish is dry.
O: Drinkable everyday IPA - nothing all the bold, but still has a punch of hop flavor and bitterness.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 trapez (1295) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2012
Bottle. Aroma of hops and some brown sugar. Amber colour with beige head. Hops in flavour but not much grapefruitlike bitterness rather a bit sweet.

pours a shade under golden "straw" color, with a white fluffy head. the aroma is some citrus, but really strong of malt. the flavor is malty up front with caramel flavors. at the end the hop flavors come thought, with bitterness upfront. the palate is a medium body. Overall this bad but it really does not do anything to really stand out against others. more of a run of the mill brew

12oz bottle from a mixed pack. The aroma said mild IPA but the flavor strange and was more sweet malt. Not bad just not a great IPA.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bosco (112) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Pours murky, hazy deep amber becoming clearer after settling.
Loose head swirls clean and doesn’t linger. Sharp bite from carbonation with a smooth, clean finish. Not bad but there’s much better out there.
