COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden sparkling blond ale was brewed to pay homage to a 1000-year tradition rooted in Cologne, Germany. Clear, crisp and easy to drink, the Kolsch of today is lighter than the "House" beer that was served in Cologne 200 years ago - the city that made Kolsch famous. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

Went down nice and smoth. Light appearance, the taste was enjoyable, and it had nice honey aroma.

Bottle from BevMo. Nose is dominated by graininess and not much else. Grain with a decent malt backbone and a light hop flavor. Fairly clean.

Has an odd tartness and a lack of complexity. Might be authentic, but it’s not my taste.

12oz bottle-pours gold color brew. Aroma has the funk grain, musty, with a dash of citrus. Taste is musky and provides a thin finish. Medium carbonation.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a half finger white foam head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind. Bland, slightly earthy aroma with faint grassy hops and light fruit notes. Really not much going on and lacking in almost every characteristic that makes kolschs interesting. Subtle grass and straw notes with very faint fruit and pale malt. On the lighter end of medium bodied with a stronger hop presence than the aroma hinted at. Crisp, slightly spicy hops that provides some subtle earthy and dry bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt. More floral than bitter with a slight earthy/soily character that is countered by an odd adjunct like sweetness. There hints of apple and pear but also a strange corn flavor that is pretty unpleasant. It starts off alright but the lingering aftertaste is pretty bad.

Light golden in color with a heavy foamy head that lingers. Hoppy aroma with a light bitter taste. Light, bitter sensation on the palate. Overall enkoyable without being stunning.

Pours clear blonde with a thick off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a raunchy pale malt flavor with a little banana ester and a dry finish.

Meh. It’s OK, but nothing great. It has a tinge of skunkiness to it that takes away from the taste, but I wouldn’t not drink it.

Eh. Decent summer ale - high drink ability, but maybe after couple of big IPAs first ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
