This deliciously fruity ale is brewed with blackberries, raspberries and sweetened with a touch of blueberry honey. light and refreshing, with a reddish-amber color, be sure to look for the delicate balance of the ale bitter and the berry sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a too-clear amber and much too much carbonation. Smells like melted pennies offset by faint strawberry. Faint berry flavor with a splash of honey in the finish. Average mouthfeel. Better than I thought it would be.

I got this in the summer pack. Probably one of the best in there, if not the best. Prevalent berry taste but not too syrupey.

One of the best beers of the 12 Beers of Summer pack, the Mountain Ale pours a medium amber color with an off-white, fizzy head. Fair lacing behind a fully diminishing head. Clear body. Aroma is fruity. Initial taste is a medium sweet, with a light sweet finish, medium duration. Strong carbonation and light body define the palate.

I thought this one was an interesting one. I liked this probably the best in the mixed pack. Interesting.

It smells great - Fruity, berry-ish - blackberry and cherry, maybe a touch of raspberry. But the flavor is very artificial. Saccarine-y, almost.

12 oz. bottle - Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head which faded quickly. Lively carbonation. Has a faint grassy aroma. Has a light berry and caramel malt flavor. Has a slight astringent after taste. Light body. Worth a try.

Copper pour with little head. Somewhat fruity aroma, but overall, pretty weak. Medium carbonation. Malty and berry taste. Very artificial. Watery finish. BLAH!

Bottle ( thanks Eric) Poured a crystal clear amber ale in the glass. Modest cap with short retnetion and ligh lacing ability. Slightly spritzy carbonation. Modest malt spine, light body, tart mouth feel, sweet and sour character..... Aromas are really subtle..light grain and cerial tones with some fermented honey sweetness and fruit tones from both yeast and fruit...but very subtle.... Sweet without cloying up front with caramel malts then a sour fruit taste to balance..middle is like a pear cider with some biscuit tones. Finishes surprisingly quick and clean with light drying from the use of wheat...... Refreshing, pleasant and fruity-cidery made with real fruit and decent ingredients but there is just nothing really distinct about this brew that makes it stand out. I’d never turn one down though.
