COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

Aromas of caramel, nuts, a touch of vanilla, subtle apricot, and grass. Dark, clear ruby-amber with a moderately lasting, off-white head. Off-dry, earthy, savory, and bitter, with some lemon rind-like citrus notes, and woody tones, almost oaky. Medium bodied with cleansing carbonation, and finishes with nutty malts, and earthy and citrusy hops.

Pours amber with a slightly off white head. Aroma is caramel, toast and a floral. Taste is sweet with light bitters. Medium bodied with a smooth, softly carbonated mouth feel.

Very mediocre PA. Grass and citrus, but far from being "aggressively-hopped". Light bitterness only, quite fizzy carbonation. Quite smooth enjoyable, preferable to most lagers.

A can I picked up at Antenna America. It poured a nice orange copper color with a thick head. The aroma was a dank aroma... I think it was what I have heard referred to as catpiss... the flavor is malty, bitter mid mouth with a funky finish. After warming up a bit that aroma dissipated and it was more of a neutral hop bitterness.

Pours a clear, light amber with a white head. Aromas of some noble hops, some skunk, some caramel. Taste is slightly bitter with a warming toffee. Not terrible. Tick.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium to large white head. Sweet malt on the nose, a touch of paper, and a small hop backbone. Medium bodied, sweeter than I’d like, but not cloying at least. Malty, sweet malt, toast, a bit of candied hops. Gentle hop bitterness over lingering sweet malt. Drinkable.

Copper amber color. Did not enjoy this beer, has an almost bleach flavor and very unpleasant aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle served in glass mug. Pours a lovely amber with a moderate amount of off-white head. Head is short-lived save a partial thin coating. Typical feel for style, with moderate carbonation. The aroma is mainly hoppy, as expected, but with a slight and undesirable metallic aroma. T - hoppy with malt presence. Slight smokiness. Bolder taste than expected given aroma. Overall, well balanced taste, but rather average.

Bottle->SA. Amber with frothy head. Aroma is quite hoppy. Tastes of tin and hops. Messy.
