COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

Nice crisp, mildly hoppy pale ale. Not as good as Sierra Nevada, but much cheaper.

Quite aromatic--probably the EKG hop presence. Full bodied coppery flavor, amberish-brown in color. Malt and hops balanced well. Crisp finish with a bold bitterness, but no bad aftertaste. The best of the beer’s features is price. At 5$ a sixer, it easy to overlook any faults the beer has. The truth is, however, that it really is a good beer.

A good pale ale. Very nice body with a mild hoppy flavor. Clean finish. Good head and color.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2003 Mildy impressed for an inexpensive American Pale Ale. Aroma a bit skunky but does not have that bitter aftertaste that many pales have. Nice thick creamy head and good dark amber color.

not a half bad american pale ale, adequate hops and malt flavor

This beer poured an amber color and formed a nice white head that left a little lace. An aroma of hops and malt. A flavor of hops, malt and slight bit of chocolate. Not a bad pale ale, but I will probably stick with buying Columbus Brewing’s.

this has a nice body and some clean hop taste. is good for the price. Not too complex though, i dont think sarnac has mastered the EPA yet. . .

Yawning fruit and belching coriander…I don’t feel that good…

Beautiful pour leaves you with a generous white head atop a copper body. Saranac does itself credit with the beer itself as well -- pleasant British hop aroma translates well into the flavor, with a solid malt underpinning in support. Clean finish. All told, a solid British-style pale ale.
