COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

Copper amber hue. Small whitish head dissipates rather quickly. Grain and floral nose. Hops are definately dominating this brew. A little more maltiness and it would be very nice. Lack of balance loses points. These guys are a bunch of awesome people, but their brews seem to fall short more times than not.

I enjoyed this Pale Ale more than usual, probably because it wasn’t too hoppy and had a full mouthfeel with a complex range of flavors. Balanced fruity and spicy tastes make this a solid beer all around.

A bit spicy for my liking, but it was not a bad pale ale at all.

Orange copper color with a tan head. Soft floral hop aroma with traces of malt sweetness. A rather wide ranging bitterness with a somewhat salty finish. Slight gritty texture and a tad roasty.

Okay for the price, but nothing to write home about. Probably won’t try it again.

Nice english pale overall, although it was a little on the light side for flavor and color. Sure there are better pales, and I would rather have an american style anyday, but this is still a good beer. Very refreshing.
