COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

Bitter, with a slight grapefruit aftertaste; leaves the tongue a little dry. But overall, quite a fine and crisp brew.

Probably Saranac’s best brew. A classic American Pale. Hoppy nose; crisp, clean palate; malt balances great with the hops; moderate body and a long bitter/citrus finish. Well done!

This was definitely a tasty pale ale. Probably one of the most enjoyable I have had in a while. Kind of fruity, but very hoppy. Very good indeed.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2003 Copper color, med head. Grassy and citric hops, with woody and herbal notes, with light caramel notes in the nose. Nice full caramel malt with honey tones - and herbal, somewhat spicy and woody hop finish. Nice British style pale ale.

Pretty tasty for a pale ale. This is one of my faves from Saranac. Nice hoppy aroma, but it sits well on the palate and goes down smooth. Great drinkability.
