Bottle. Too dark for a pale ale. Crisp, with some caramel taste. OK for the price.

Sep 4, 2008 Taste 9/8 Bottle (Date?) Looks: Copper body, decent white foam. Aroma: Barely traceable amounts of hops and caramel. Taste: Watery pale ale. A soapy hops character.

Sep 1, 2008 Bottle at home ... From my GBBF 08 60 bottle haul ... Copper ... Though not as big and powerfull as many US beers this still have a bit of a US hop nose (despite its description of englih hops!?) little sweet caramel ... sweet fruity easy ... decent hop malt balance ...Tasty ... but nothing special ... but its definitly got a US charcater not an English one ...

Aug 31, 2008 Tap @ Westside Brewing Company, NYC. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is faint malt and faint to barely-there hops. Taste is weak, with malt and a hop bite way too slight for the style. Definitely disappointing.

Aug 29, 2008 part of a 6-pack mix, pours nice slightly cloudy amber color with a finger of off white head. Nice classic pale ale balanced aroma of malt and light hops. Flavor is a little disappointing, initially malty (tastes a little like a bad amber), the hops make a late entrance and save the beer. A forgettable brew.

Aug 27, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Reddish pour, clear, with a one finger head. Leafy malt aroma with some malty notes. Taste is malt forward, slightly grainy, with some leafy and citrus hop notes.
