Commercial Description:
Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

Bottle: Poured a very light brown with a very nice frothy head. Lots of carbonation. Scent is lightly floral. Flavor is typical for style. Pretty average.

pours medium/dark amber. good just off white head. smells and tastes of fruity, yet bitter hops, though the taste is a little less intense than the smell. kind of bland.

Pours dark amber with 1 finger tan head that leaves a little lacing and lasts the whole way down. Aroma is citrus and somewhat floral hops with some mulberries and minerally earthiness. Flavor is bitter hops, a little citrus, a bitter grassiness, and some nice fluffy french bread malts. Finish is more bitter hops and a flowery sweetness. Palate may be a little on the thick and sticky side for the flavor profile but pretty well passable.

Draft @ Tigin. I’ve had this beer numerous times, but never on draft before so I figured it’s time to rate it. I never realized how nice the color is, an orange/amber looks like in a low lit bar. Sour, sweet and bitter hops with a slight cantaloupe/orange undertone. Nothing over the top, but a solid beer.

Had this from a 12oz bottle.Poured a golden/amber color with a large whie head.Aromas were of very light hop and malt. The taste was a bit on the watery side,a medium body,a little bitter and bland.

12 oz. into shaker. Nice clear copper amber with a great head that holds with some nice density and provides some good lace if poured patiently in stages. Doesn’t have much of an aroma other than faint pale malt. No hops even. Flavor is similar with mostly pale malt body, but with a bit of a hop bitterness on the finish - a bit resinous but not that much flavor; mostly just bitter. Medium, bodied, a lot more mouth feel and texture than I expected. Overall: looks good, feels good, but doesn’t really have aromatic/flavor characters. Highly drinkable though. No real flaws.
