Bottle. An interesting beer. Aroma of apple juice. Flavor of more apple and pear and pomegranate I guess (I’ve never actually had pomegranate before, but I’d assume it’s somewhere in here). Slight wheat presence. I enjoyed this at first, but then it started to get a little too sweet. Decent though. I suppose I would get this again if I was in the mood for a fruity, sweet, light-bodied beer.

Warm honey color, slight haze in a good glass but otherwise the rocky head and cool caldera look don’t emerge. Fruity, spritzy aroma--fruit tartness evident a la strawberry and of course, pomegranate. Slight floral and herbal notes in there, maybe a touch of anise. Light, simple, refreshing, thin. Fruity, clean, good. Sweet entry, sweet middle, wheat and yeast apparent throughout with some lingering fruit tartness at the end, near the back of the tongue. Finishes dry, not bad.

For a fruit beer, the fruit is hardly noticeable, but in a good way. It’s a non-bitter light wheat tasting beer with a very slight flavor of fruit.

12oz bottle. Cloudy golden-orange color with a nice frothy head. Smooth, light malty backbone with some decent wheat character as well. The pomegranate taste is a little unpronounced, but I think that makes it a little more enjoyable than an artificial tasting sugary sweet beer. All in all, a fairly respectable beer, worth a try if you are into fruit beers.

This was actually surprisingly good. It is very resfreshing and the fruit does not overpower at all.

12oz Bottle - Trade - Daknole
Aroma – A decent fruit beer. Light with fruit aroma the wheat was too much for this.
Appearance – Amber in color, cloudy with a light head.
Flavor – This was a very light fruit flavored beer. The wheat beer part was very nice with some strong malts and cloves to the flavor.
Palate – OK Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This beer missed the fruit beer boat. The fruit flavor should be pronounced so you can actually tell what it is. I was hoping for more but what can you do. Very hard style to brew.
