This light colored wheat ale might have a hazy appearance, but one thing’s crystal clear: it practically sparkles with bright, citrusy flavor. Enjoy!

12 oz bottle, this beer surprised me. I was never a big fan of white ales but the Citra hops really make this one interesting. A tropical taste in this beer, quite refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 2-10-14- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy and light golden-orange color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades almost instantly to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is big of a sweet smell with lots of apricot, pear, and orange as well as candied sugar smells and a hint of bubblegum. Along with these aromas are some yeast and a bit of spice with coriander and clove both there. A light breadiness rounds out the aroma giving a quite nice aroma overall. Taste – The taste begins a cracker taste with hints of apricot and tangerine mixed within. A yeasty flavor joins the taste soon after, bringing a light coriander and clove flavor along with it. As the flavor advances tons of grass and hay come to the tongue with the sweet losing some ground. These mix of flavors take the taste to its end where they leave a slightly bitter grassy and drier flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side for a brew of 5.2 % abv. with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. For the lighter fruit flavors mixed with the grassy and hay flavors, the body and carbonation create a still rather easy drinking brew. Overall – A decent BPA, but it has a bit too much grassy and hay flavors for my taste. Just alright.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - Abercorn St - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium golden, little to no head. Aroma has some coriander accents, a touch of yeast. Flavor has some nice lemony accents, a touch of coriander, some light bubble gum. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it. Dependable, as most Saranacs are.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of coriander seed, curacao, full oranges, lemons and a lot of yeast - strong. Medium-bodied; Very strong coriander seed flavour coupled with a good orange and lemon flavourand some honey sweetness. Aftertaste shows a very pungent yeast kick followed by some subdued sugars and that’s about it - a lot of coriander seed and curacao, but it’s minimal at the end. Overall, a decent wit at best, too much coriander seed flavour and a bit too much oranges, both in the form of a full orange and in curacao. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Stop & Shop in New Paltz, New York on 30-August-2014 sampled a bit later in the day here in New Paltzia.

Bottle. Nose of citrus fruit and roses, faint grapes and strong (fake) peach. Yucky pale yellow-golden, just dingy, with a tight rocky beige head. Taste is bone-dry and strongly bitter, touch of perceived sweetness from the strongly artificial peach. Crisp, aggressive full body, no malt development, astringent and rubbery in the sharply bitter finish. Dumper.

Pours opaque straw color with a nice rocky white head. Hop aroma is intense, fresh apricot mixed in. Apricot continues in the flavor with a slight bitterness. Finished clean with some wheat at the end.

Very crisp. Tart citrus and berry with a punchy flavor that leads to a smooth trailing finish. A bit earthy, a bit of grain. A very nice warm weather seasonal.

Tuity fruity.... Aroma of lemon and orange. Slight initial hop bite followed by bready kindof offputting lingering aftertaste. Not horrible. Was on sale for $6.50 a 6pk.

Mango and peach nose. Hazy golden, thick head and good lacing. Dry, peach flavor. Bitter lemongrass finish. Abundant carbonation, maybe a little too much. Fruity, but not a lot of wheat character. More like an APA, with exclusively fruity hops.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is a milky pale yellow-orange with a white fizzy head. Aroma is over -the-top with fruit like apples, watermelon, and mango. Toasted biscuit malts are virtually invisible. The mouthfeel is summery and light. The fruit flavor defines this beer like it does the aroma with a mildly bitter finish. I think I wanted less fruit.
