Clear copper pour with no head. Pleasant sweet aroma of vanilla, pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Taste is on the sweet side with notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla beans, and pumpkin. Palate is kind of thin. Pretty good overall. Quite quaffable. Not huge on pumpkin taste but still enjoyable. One of the better non-imperial pumpkins i’ve found.

not sure why the ratings are so low for this one. the pumpkin was strong but not overpowering. quite like it.

Looks like a festbier, slightly cloudy with decent lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, expected more spice in the nose. Taste is like an Oktoberfest, not as much Pumpkin in it as I would prefer - it comes through a little more in the palate, but they could get a little more aggressive on the Pumpkin with this one.

Aroma is of pumpkins and vegetables/the stem of a pumpkin. The flavor is lightly spiced with pumpkin and vegetable/stem. Never had a pumpkin ale with a flavor of stem, not sure if that makes this unique or just kinda meh.

Ar: Straight pumpkin spice, with an emphasis on clove and cinnamon. Ap: Deep orange-amber, clear - small off-white head with low retention and a touch of lacing. T: Very spicy up front - emphasis is on the pepper, clove, and cinnamon - some caramel sweetness in the middle - finish has some cracker malt and spicy cinnamon lingering. P: Medium-bodied with medium-high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Sessionable and flavorful pumpkin ale - a bit more body would be nice, but overall I like this beer.

For the bad ratings I was expecting a bad beer but this pumpkin ale is actually satisfying. Pours a deep brown with a nice head. Very full and nicely spiced.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2011 Poured some head at first along with a spice aroma then fizzled down to a metallicy with mild estery yeast aroma. There is kind of just a bland taste. Fairly sweet with balanced spiced flavor, detect some vanilla in the aftertaste, this doesnt taste full bodied. Its drinkable not overspiced,,decent beer probably a winner for holliday partiers as its very drinkable.Nothing off putting in this, better than average pumpkin spiced beer. This doesnt have a typcial vegetable aftertaste im assuming its not brewed with a lot of pumpkin. If i offered this to someone i think they probably would like it.Its drinkable and festive, not bad.

Red amber in color. Lighter bodied and well carbonated. The flavors are a little subdued and more nutmeg than pumpkin but still a pretty solid beer. Best part is the $6.99 price tag!
