COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In celebration of the fall harvest. Here's an autumn favorite that's as enjoyable as pumpkin pie. This hearty ale is brewed with cinnamon, allspice, cloves and vanilla. Look for a full body and amber color. We're sure you'll enjoy this special brew.

DATE TASTED: October 25, 2013 ... GLASSWARE: Wychwood pint... OCCASION: unwinding with some pre-Halloween pumpkin!... APPEARANCE: opaque autumn-brown body with a thin off-white head--but zero lacing?!... AROMA: distinct pumpkin waft and lightly toasted malts that take precedent over the pumpkin; spices are soft, subdued...PALATE: slightly warming, medium-bodied balanced ale that sits well in the throat; inoffensive but not impressive...TASTE: malty; solidly built with a slightly suggestive pumpkin/spice flavor--modestly autumnal...OVERALL: Situated among other pumpkin bombers and October brews, this beer finds itself slightly below the competition, if only because it offers little truly memorable qualities...not a bad thing, just not much of a thing like waiting for the Great Pumpkin instead of trick-or-treating...

When is poured a red brown beer is seen, some aromas are felt but those stronger ones are the grass, citrus, earthy, banana, ginger and bread. When is tasted the pumpkin flavor aren’t felt at all, and it just give you the idea of a regular Ale. Not a fan of this beer in particular, but at least it follow the rule of the ales and to be honest is better in a normal temperature.

32oz bottle from Total Wine in Cary. Orange hue, normal clarity with mostly diminishing white head. Virtually no lacing. Mostly cinammon and nutmeg on the nose. Medium bitter spice up front, some pumpkin on the finish, but mostly spice. Kind of boring compared to most other pumpkin beers. May have gone past it’s prime. I think I bought this in Sept of 2013.

Best by: 31JAN11 A: Pours a browned orange ale with under a single finger of off-white soft foam, this ale leaves some spotty lacing. Near excellent clarity. S: Squash, cinnamon, nutmeg and a sour cream smell. T: A slight cherry flavor with some sweet malts. The cinnamon is pretty strong here to me. M: medium bodied with lively carbonation. wet finish. O: Pretty middle of the road for me. Not bad, nothing special. The cinnamon was too strong here for me. Serving type: bottle 10-01-2011

Bottiglia 355ml @cantinone. Ambrata scura con schiuma abbastanza persistente. Niente di speciale, ricorda un po' una birra alla frutta, ciliegia in particolare. Dimenticabile... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

Not an obnoxious pumpkin flavor or ton of spices. Enjoyable. I would get it again. Price not too bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

10/23/2011. From bottle. Amber color with a white head. Spicy aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, light malt and pumpkin. Sweet caramel flavors with spice and some pumpkin, but not balanced at all and somewhat sticky.

Thanks to Greg. Pleasantly malty and lightly sweet aroma. Light hops. A modestly spiced pumpkin ale, with a little allspice and cinnamon. Good.

Pint at Mellow mushroom Cary ok aroma. Sweet pumpkin caramel. Nice initial head faded to a ring. Spotty lace. Clean brownish orange color. Sweet flavor. Medium body light creamy mouthfeel. Sweet finish. Ok, flavor best part. Weak in the scheme of things.

Bottle pour. Clear dark orange color with a thick cream head. The aroma is mostly yeast with a lite pumpkin note. This beer has a watery mouthfeel. The taste is pretty mild, light on the pumpkin but heavy on the spices. Overall a boring beer, and overly sweet.

Chemical hop spice herbal malt aroma. Clear brown colour with poor head and lacing. Malt stale herbal spice flavour. Flat palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
