bottle. Pours out a deep amber almost brown color, transparent, off white head. Pleasant spicy aroma, allspice, cinnamon. Fairly malty up front with notes of vanilla and spice, kind of bready. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Actually not that bad, not overly spicy or all that bland.

An ok pumpkin, a bit boring. Pours a clear red with quickly dissipating head. Smells good, pumpkin and spices and cinnamon. Taste is lacking however, a bit of pumpkin at the start, but a very empty finish. Had in the bottle.

Cute little quart jug from Bev-Mo in Folsom, CA. Pours copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma is pie spice as advertised. Med minus body. It’s a little lacking body wise, but the spice is good, and that makes the beer seem more substantial. Easy drinker.

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Clear, still, dark amber, thin ivory rim head, a few dots of lace that slide back in. Taste is malt that adds pumpkin spice in the palate. The finish needs some bitter or a fizzy edge, something to keep it from drifting aimlessly. A drinkable brew, but weak and unbalanced, especially in the finish.

32 ounce Saranac howler.
Glass: Dogfish Head pub glass.
Appearance: A large and dense light tan head sits on a clear amber body.
Aroma: Mild aroma with a light sweetness and a bit of spice. Cinnamon, caramel and vanilla come to mind.
Taste: The flavor is similar to the aroma, mild with a hint of sweetness and subtle spices. Mild slightly malty intro with a dash of cinnamon, pumpkin and vanilla by the finish.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: Not a bad pumpkin beer by any means, a bit mild but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I won’t buy this again, but it’s worth a drink.

Bottle pour. Clear dark orange color with a thick cream head. The aroma is mostly yeast with a lite pumpkin note. This beer has a watery mouthfeel. The taste is pretty mild, light on the pumpkin but heavy on the spices. Overall a boring beer, and overly sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice for a pumpkin ale. The flavor is not overpowering and there is still a nice malt flavor that comes through.
