2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Session IPA? Iíll be the judge of that, Matt. Poured from twelve ounce bottle from Saranac 12 Beers Of Summer variety pack bought at Sams Club. Light amber/gold hue, medium white head, light bittersweet aroma, light bittersweet flavor with sour undercurrent. The only session this would be suitable for would be with a bunch of guys under a bridge holding paper bags of their favorite cheap swill. Otherwise, avoid.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Dark. Overly malted. Taste is a slightly bitter amber ale. I guess itís easy to not sacrifice hop character when thereís none to begin with.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Drank from the bottle. Aroma is of a macrobrew. No hops to speak of. This tastes like a miller high life. I canít believe this is an ipa. One word: Pathetic

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Digging about in the cooler during Barryís shindig yesterday, I fell across this. Yes, a nice session. But fairly lackluster in all aspects of direct from the bottle consumption. No discernible nose. Mouthfeel is meh. Watery and blah body eventually leads to a forgetable finish. Hops must have been in small quantity for they did little to impress. Consumed during all encompassing discussion of the Song of Ice and Fire 5 book series with Anne and Joy.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
355 ml bottle from The Beer Store in Montichello, NY. Pours a cloudy gold color with a low white head. Aroma is floral hops and some spices, rather nice but the pleasure ends there. Taste is a weak malty, pinesol and floral with dry bitterness. No IPA fan here but this was below average.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Orange juice and pine/orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Watery orange juice and lightly bitter pine/citrus peel flavor. Very light body. Bland and unexciting.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Matt sets out to make an easy drinking, low content IPA and, ouch, gets a 4 style score at RB. Soft floral aroma with some bread. Itís light enough you can actually smell the water. Light lager yellow. Weakly bitter taste, and even less malt. A well made lager has more presence than this. Very quaffable, but so is PBR. The lesson here is that rule number one for making a light IPA is: donít.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours just slightly hazy, yellow-amber.
Almost no head, just a skim of white foam....
Minimal scent, orange and florals.
Taste is citrus, almost fruit- punchy with very little bitter.
Possibly the least hoppy IPA Iíve ever had.
The taste is pretty good, definitely sessionable.
