It has a clear filtered body that is golden color. Its head is white, bubbly and fades fast. The aroma is light and has a lemony essence. Its flavor is simple, sweet and lemony with light wheat malt. The body is medium with a slightly slick feel and an average carbonation. Overall it is a very refreshing ale with a clean flavor.

From a 12 ounce bottle into a shaker glass. A: Sweet wheat malt notes and a bit of hay. A: Pours a clear, golden color with one finger of nearly white head and little retention or lace. T: Weak flavor overall. No off-flavors, but barely any flavor at all. Faint wheat malt, nothing else. P: Light body and carbonation. O: Pedestrian.

Your slightly less than average american wheat ale. Very light, watery, some grassiness and dirt.

Cybercat (3218) - Georgia, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Aroma is wheaty with lemon and yeast hints. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Wheaty flavor has the typical yeast and citrus notes of a decent wheat beer. Refreshing, it not spectacular. Texture is fizzy and has about average thickness. Nice for a hot summer day - or to bring a little summer sunshine into a chilly day.

12 ounce bottle from Saranac 12 Beers Of Summer variety pack purchased from Sams Club. Cloudy orange/yellow hue, moderate sweet/spicy/somewhat earthy aroms, small white head, tangy yeasty/spicy flavor with muted sweetness that got more prominent as the glass warmed. Not bad

Bierkrug (2131) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - SEP 24, 2012
355 ml bottle from The Beer Store in Monticello, NY. Poured a light honey color with a large orange-white head. The aroma is sweet malts, citrus and pepper. The flavor is rather dry with a bit of an artificial lemon flavor underneath and touches of cardboard and pepper. The palate is dry and tangy. Another of those ice cream palor flavors that ruin this brewery. It is almost like they just add flavoring to thier regular beer.

Thank god...I thought I had the damn shandy for a minute. Smells spicy and almost limey. Weird chlorinated thing going on. Hazy orange yellow color. Spicy flavor features coriander, nutmeg and cinnamon. Flush and refreshing, if a little sticky. Strives to be a witte. Just for shites and giggles, let’s rate Saranac’s hefe next.
