Bomber from Sam’s Quik Stop. Clear golden pour with decent white head and some lacing. Sweet and citrusy nose goes right along with the citrusy hop flavor. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side though. There seems to be a hint of caramel backbone for balance, but overall, this is a hoppy little sucker that leaves a nice honey sweetness on the tail.

The aroma is a little weird, grassy, sweatsock, musty. The appearance is very pale orange for the style, white head. The flavor is grass, sweet caramel. Grassy, piney finish. Not great.

Bottle at a tasting at Matt’s place. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet caramel and graininess on the nose, soft sweet toast, a bit of dusty hops. Grainy, sweet with some caramel and some light earthy hops. Moves into a long bitterness. As with most Saranac beers, this is not terrible.

Bottle at Zach & Matt’s tasting. POurs clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is slightly skunky; some malt and hops but not much going on. Taste is slightly grassy and grainy and somewhat watery. This did not taste like an IPA.

Pours a medium copper color nice thick and bubbly head. Glass held a great amount of lace. Aroma is fruity, lemon and banana, a bit yeasty (lemon banana bread). Taste is a bit on the malty side, a slight bitterness, lacks typical hoppiness bitter, but very well accepted. Palate is lemon and slight yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a 22 oz bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head that recedes leaving lots of lacing. Feint hop aroma. Flavors of resiny pine and grass. Not the best combo of hop flavors. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small white head. Nose is somewhat hoppy with a bit of a malt undertone to it. Taste is somewhat bitter with some floral notes coming through, but well-balanced.
