2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a cloudy yellow with a slight citrus aroma. Taste is mildly bitter mixed with diluted spices. The citrus hops mixed with the spic gives this beer an odd taste. There is a small bitter aftertaste after the swallow, but overall its a refreshing beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
16 ounce pint - $6.50 at Taco Mac in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a dim, clouded, golden-orange body with a half-inch of white head. Good lacing.
Smell: Pithy lemon overneath scantly bready wheatiness, low resins, low spices. A bit of a modest aroma overall.
Taste: Soft white wheat, a slight graininess and a nibble of brioche. Lightly sweet. Resins, lemon and a pithy quality. Small pinch of spice. Medium bitterness. Drying, pith-rimmed finish with a hint of lemon juice moistened bread. Some bitterness lingering.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s okay, like many Saranac beers (the better ones at least) it just falls a bit short.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Didnt like this rather experimental brew from Saranac. Lots of spices and citrics in the aroma. Coriander being the most predominant. Some dough in the taste but overly sweet and wheaty for the rest. Corny, earthy palate. Med bodied and very frizzy. Small white head.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy straw colored beer with a thick foamy white head. Nice citrus nose with burnt orange, coriander, and lemon pith. Flavor is pretty much what you’d expect for a WIT with a bracing citrus hoppiness followed by a bit of spice with a crisp, dry finish. Decent beer for the style, but not one that differentiates itself.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at mojos on Bald Head Island. Light golden color with a nice fluffy head, the hops are crisp and funky, just the wheat makes it seem a little thin.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2013 Hazy yellow/orange/white, not great to look at. Makes up for it in the aroma, nice orange notes. More orange in the flavor and some grainy tanginess. Not particularly bitter, so avoid if you buy into the whole BRÜTAL PALATE DESTROYER fad of over hopped beer. The palate is one of the best I have ever had. Smooth, thick, and delicious. Lingering citrus notes leave a pleasant aftertaste. Draft pour.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of hops, malt and ocean. Cloudy gold, thin white head with some lacing. Floral and citrus hops, some creamy malt, pepper. Aftertaste is off - not sure what it is, but it doesn’t taste right and hurts this beer. Too bad cause this could be a great beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz Bottle. The pour was a murky straw yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thin puddled film and medium collar with excellent sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt, resin and citrus hops and a sweaty Belgian yeast with a note of citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and a bit of coriander.
The taste was lightly sweet and fruity with just a touch of spice early on, progressing with a nice citrusy hoppy taste, along with a strong grainy yeast presence and a citrus peel bite towards the finish. The flavor hung around for a good long time following the swallow with the bitter citrus peel taste fading ever so slowly off the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a couple steps beyond light in body with a dry, creamy texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall this was a tasty and well balanced brew with a pleasing spicy citrus favor and a nice creamy drinkability... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews
