Refrigerated bottle poured into shaker. Pours clear amber with half finger that dissapates quickly. Some lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and caramel malt aroma. Taste is toasted malt and grassy hop finish. Not a fan.

Pours a dark amber with little head. Almost non existent aroma. Smooth taste with a nice malt taste and a bit of hop balance. Nice and smooth, but not that interesting.

This was a nice heavier vienna beer. It was kind of sweet with a good malt.

Clear light golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of pungent malt, a touch of lemons and not much else. Light-bodied; Strong cardboardie malt flavours with a bit of metal and some light sugars. Stronger pungent malt follows with a little sweetness and a very minor hop taste. Overall, a pretty weak beer, but that’s expected based on where it’s coming from. Definitely worth passing up, but only worth sampling when someone hands you one for free. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a Winter 12 pack purchased here in Virginia.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 thechandler (529) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - DEC 9, 2010
Pours a medium amber color with a slight red tint. Aroma is rich, nice deep malt notes. Taste is metallic. The flavor corresponds to the brews copper color. There’s a bit of malt sweetness, but I’m sorry, I cannot get past the metallic flavor. Not awful, but not great unless you like chewing on wire or foil.

Bottle. Clear dark amber colour. Very small tan head. Clean flavour, semi-dark malts. OK balanced by the alcohol.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 phaleslu (4528) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 23, 2010
12 oz. bottle from a mixed pack from A-1 Liquor in Indianapolis. Pours a semi-cloudy brown amber color with an active off-white head. Notes of caramel malts, nuts, brown sugar, earthy hops, and wet leaves. Light bodied, with average carbonation and a mouthfeel that would be sweet and nutty if not for the fact that it’s too watered down. Why hold it back? There’s a better beer here somewhere.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (7179) - London, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2010
Bottle. Pours a nice amber-brown with a medium, off-white head. Nose is heavy on the malts. More malty sweetness in the flavor, with caramel, light brown sugar and toffee. Faint hops of the earthy variety. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, semi-sticky finish. Not bad overall.
