Jun 14, 2008 on tap-pours a disappearing white head and gold color. Aroma is somewhat sweet medium malt, light fruit. Taste is sweet medium malt, honey/rock candy-like, light fruit. Finishes semi-bitter/tart. Semi-dry.

Aug 8, 2006 Not quite the epitome of what aMaibock should be, not decent enough at least. Hoppy with the Standard German flavors of whata Mai-bock should be. Give it a try

Aug 5, 2006 The aroma is decent but slightly off. The appearance is typical for the style. The flavor is not the best but not bad with malt, bitterness, and some candy. The palate is good. This is worth a try but not a great beer.

Jun 8, 2004 Pours a dark, but clear, brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma is very malty with some toffee and butterscotch. No hops detected in the aroma. The flavor is identical to the aroma, very malty with some seey toffee and caramel. Body is a little thin but this is overall a decent beer.
