Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where exceeded. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Medium gold with nice white head that is tight and clings to the glass leaving lace. The only one of the bunch that leaves lace. Bright but subtle hop aroma. Some cannabis. Leafy and nice with some tropical fruit esters too. Smooth palate and easy carbonation but slightly sticky in finish. Not a super beer but has a nice bitterness that makes it drinkable and good. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2008 Pours nice clear copper with gold edges and lasting ring of off white foam. The aroma has a mild pulse of sweet malts and some grapefruit and pine hoppiness. The taste has a quick wedge of malty sweetness stuck in there before the pine and grapefruit hop bitterness completely overwhelm the flavor making for a tasty hop head experience. Midway and to the finish a mild up welling of lightly roasted sweet malts and faint fruity esters are just noticed before they vanish under the weight of hop bitterness. Very solid IPA.
