Sarasota Brewing Nutty Brown Ale

on tap-pours a foamy tan head and dark copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty/nutty, licorice, secondary earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-roasty/nutty/chocolate, licorice, secondary earthy hops.

Draft at brewpub. Pours dark brown with medium off-white head that diminished slowly. Medium nutty burnt malt aroma. Medium body with a burnt texture. Moderate flavor with a good finish.

Ripe fruit and nuts in the aroma. Firm mocha head and a very dark chestnut body. A lot of coffee notes in the fore taste followed by a sweet grape-like maltiness and nutty notes. Nice brown ale here.
