Ibrew2or3 (1705), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Mar 20, 2008 Pours clear deep gold with off white head. Odd looking beer for an amber. The aroma is roasty malts, 90L crystal malts and some really faint caramel. The taste is nice and amber-like with rich roasty malts, a little bit of malt astringency mixing with more lightly roasted malts. All this maltiness slowly turns into Munich grainy type malts along with mild pine hoppiness and faint floral hops as the finish approaches. The hop bitterness does grow some into the finish and lingers around with sweet and roasted maltiness. Angeloregon (1898), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 26, 2007 Good to see these folks doing lagers, too. Tasted March 2005 @ Brewery--Poured a rich burnt amber body. Sweet mildly sticky nose (hints of caramel). Mild hops presence, quite quaffable, but lacked a lot in the finish. Kevster (194), Bradenton, Florida, USA Aug 13, 2006 On tap @ the Brewery: Pours a golden amber in color with an off-white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy with hints of caramel and citrus. Flavor brought out the citrus in the hops leaving a slight hint of caramel in the sweet finish. Easy drinking and good! Palidor19 (1285), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 8, 2006 I live near the Sarasota community, so it was nice to have sometihng from a local brewey. A tasty malts with nice malts that has a strong presence of hops.
