Tmoney99 (3503), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Mar 7, 2006 Draft sampler at FBG Beerfest 06. Poured a dark amber with an average white head that lasted. Solid allspice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Good allspice flavor with a small alcohol tone with a long smooth finish. I also gave this beer my green ticket best of fest award. Aroma is so heavy with nutmegs and spice you think you will be getting a pumpkin beer for sure. Cloudy yeloow body holds a lazy, wispy white head. Fore tastes of bannana cream pie and gobs of nutmeg, mace and clove. Yeasty, creamy and just amazing feeling palate with a satisfying creamy finish. At the fest you are given green tickets to hand in for the beer you liked the most and the brewer with the most tickets gets the People’s Choice Award. I don’t know if they won, but they got my ticket. Far and away the most intensely flavorful beer at the fest (not counting Michigan’s Jolly Pumpkin beers) and I could find hide nor hair of the 7.2% alcohol this claims to have so it masks it well with allt hat spice. Not an everyday beer by any means, but as a winter treat (on a 77 degree day in Florida) it is very tasty. nick76 (2015), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 5, 2006 The aroma and flavor are nice and spicy with plenty of malt. The appearance and everything else about this beer is enjoyable. In my opinion, one of the top beer’s at FBG 2006 Beerfest and thats saying a lot. crizay (1070), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Jan 22, 2006 Cloudy yellow/amber/orange color, thin head that never lasted, awesome nutmeg, pumpkin flavor, kick ass beer, awesome spiciness, awesome maltiness, awesome beer.
