This is a handcrafted, traditional "West Coast" IPA with a perfect balance of malt blended with Cascade and Fuggles hops. We hope you will enjoy this full bodied, nicely hopped India Pale Ale.

On tap at the Dutch. Amber copper color capped by a light off white head with little retention. Nose is light with pine and citrus, not overly aromatic. Taste is malt centric with slight cutting bitterness from flower and citrus hop. Mouth is light to medium bodied. Ok! Rated via BeerBuddy

On tap at Bushwick Country Club, Brooklyn. Pours amber with small off-white head. Citrus, floral, caramel malts. OK, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin white foamy head. Aroma of caramel malts and faint citrus. Kind of watered down. Citrus rinds and caramel. That’s all that is going on here. Nothing to write home about.

12oz bottle from my sister for my birthday. Pours a hazy burnt amber color with a finger of frothy white head. Tons of sediment floating around. Aroma is kinda boozy, lots of caramel, and some old rotted citrus fruit. Taste of caramel malt, grapefruit, lemon zest, lemon pulp, and toasted nut shells. Way better then what I was expecting from the aroma.

Bottled in Saratoga. Some decent hop aroma and a bit of malts but nothing amazing here.

1/25/2014: Olde Saratoga IPA... Floral-spice hoppiness with an ample bitterness; soft, assertive hold flavor using Noble-style hops (Fuggle?); spicy hop finish; nice maltiness without getting in the way; this beer is best described as an English-style IPA and I like it! 12 fl. oz. bottle (6.8% ABV) shared by Brian. Thank you! Rating #49 for this beer.

amber color; mild, citrus hop aroma; a lot of bready, caramel, malt flavor with some hoppiness; not nearly as citrusy or hoppy as a ":West Coast IPA" (as indicated on the label) should be

Pours dark orange with a medium off-white head. Smells is earthy, hints of pine. Taste is mild bitter, a lot like a pale ale. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Saratoga IPA finishes with a mild lingering bitterness.

Pretty good IPA. Nothing tremendously great about the taste but it’s a solid offering.

Bready malty ipa with a hoppy dry bitter finish. Some balance and full flavor. Ok ipa but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
