can, courtesy of cuso - thanks a lot! Clear brwonish colour with a red glow, large, beige head. Aroma of caramel. Medium-bodied, solid malty base, lots of roast flavours, hints of caramel and cocoa powder, slightly dry on the palate. Good.

Tükrös réz/bíbor színben mutatja magát kitöltéskor, közepes habbal a tetején, amely idővel nyomtalanul eltűnik. Illata igen édes, karamellás. Közepes csípősséggel kezdődik a kóstolása, ízeben jelen van a karamell, (kissé mesterkéltnek ható) barna cukor, melyeket enyhe pirítós ill. füves hatások kísérnek. Édeskés és közepesen száraz befejezését némi komlós fűszeresség teszi viszonylag kerekké. Testessége inkább közepes, mint vizes, jól itatja magát. Számomra picit kiegyensúlyozatlan, de amúgy rendben van.

12/03/2011 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 06/04/11 (2011-109) Thanx to Joris for the bottle!

Clear ruby red to reddish amber coloured beer, small off-white head, dissipates quickly. Aroma: caramel, soft spices. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: caramel, brown sugar, spices, citrus. Aftertaste: hops, citrus fruits.

Dense cream-coloured, medium head over reddish amber, clear beer. Caramelly nose, to even toffee, faintly fruity and leafy, but definitely sweet-smelling. Drier than the nose suggested; again toffee but also (autumn) leaves. Indeed very much Vienna/Urbock-like, but more watery - just as the Svetlé 10%, the finish is empty, with just a little stickyness and some indifferent carbonation. Mouthfeel, mouthfeel - in Belgium we’re particular on that! Many thanks for the searching, Peter V.!

Csicsás kis papírdobozban ült négy félliteres palack.Kitöltve a színe vöröses sárga, habja piszkos fehér,dús és tartós.Illata pörkölt magvas, enyhén karamellás.Íze először malátásan édeskésen kezd egy kis égetett cukorral.Aztán csatlakozik a komló finom kesernyéssége és fűszeres, gyantás zamata.Utóíze keserédes,száraz, hosszan tartó.Kellemes társasági itóka.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2009 500 ml Bottle from Különleges Sörök Boltja, Budapest. It has a cool, stylish label design. Limited edition, only available until 31 December. Pours ambery gold color with frothy off-white head. Mild aroma of toasted malts, pure grains with earthy notes. The first sips was suprisingly saturated in flavors. A lots of caramelized malts, sweet toffee and nutty notes with crisp, lasting grassy hop edge and slight astringency or medicinal character in the finish. I felt a bit too weak and watery in the palate. The carbonation is soft. It has some dried fruity character to it as well. It tastes like a mixture of Saris Premium and Saris Tmavé. Tasty brew from a commercial brewery.
