3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 11%
Appearance: Head is huge, frothy and very intensive, almost creamy, light brown. Head is not firm but regular, it leaves some traces of lacing initially. Body is low in carbonation, dark cherry, reddish, ruby.
Aroma: Yeast a little bit, a little bit carbonation nose and metallic, brown sugar, caramel, wallnut, cappuccino, creamy but refreshing, some nice malted barley.
Flavour&Palate: Very well balanced, roastyness, bitterness, medium bodied (a little bit wattery) but quite well as for dunkel, drinkeable, perfectly refreshing, very nice carbonation, peanut butter, in the middle of the beer slight alcoholic nose. The good drinkable beer combining refreshment with dessert.

bottle from Pivovarsky Klub, labelled Premium Tmavé Pivo @ 4.1% ABV. Dark brwon, nearly black, large and creamy beige head on top. Aroma of malt, roasted malt and caramel. Medium to full-bodied, quite malty and sweet in a pleasant way. Flavours of malt, roasted malt, chocolate, berries and caramel. A shy touch of smoke is also present. A really good one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Awesome dunkel. Dark colour, roasted cofee flavour, some caramel notes. Very creamy with pleasant dry end. Splendid; if this is a mainstream Slovak beer then I’m moving south.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, alc. 4.1%.
Dark red ruby color, small tan head. Sweetish, a bit roasted aroma. A bit sweetish, slightly roasted. Some grassy notes. Quite typical dunkel but too sweet for my liking.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice dar colour, aroma of coffee, molasses and licorice. Rather sweet, but good, but some more hops would have lifted it even more.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Great color and texture. Toasty malt with brown sugar tones. Very little hops flavor. Definitely the best dark beer in Slovakia. Bottled in Smolenice SK
