BuckeyeBoy (1065), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 22, 2008 Growler from Walking Man Pours out a redish sand topped with a off white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and roast. Tast of sweet malt and hops. Indiana_Red (1445), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 18, 2008 Thanks to BuckeyeBoy for the growler. Clear redish brown with a modest dense off white head. Pale ale tpe aromas with a bit of choc or light roast. Flavors were modest malts and mostl citrusy west coast tpe hops. Some stale or off notes of cardboard and paper grocer bags.
Not bad though. BückDich (4497), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 18, 2008 Mini-Growler Fill: Pours a caramel amber color, light off-white head and nice lacing. Nose of light pine with some caramel malt and a touch of roast, plenty of citrus and grapefruit too. The flavor is balanced, an acidic bitter hoppy flavor initially followed by a light dusty dry malt note. Creamy tail and a mellow mouthfeel. Nice beer, very IPAish. Thanks Jeremy! Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 12, 2007 On tap at the smoky Horse Brass pub--Poured a bright amber with a bustling off-white head. Big floral bouquet in nose accompanied by a nice bready malt presence. Complex flavors came out along with alcohol as it warmed. Very nice beer. after4ever (1652), Brier, Washington, USA Jul 22, 2007 Draft at Brouwer’s. Delectable. Pours luminescent medium amber with a thick, sudsy tan head. Huge tropical & grapefruit nose. Nice medium body with active carb, forward flavors of caramel and toast underneath a delightful wash of varied fruits. Really amazing stuff.
