3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mittelgelb, trüb mit schnell verflogenem Schaum. Hefe, Honig und etwas Marzipan im Aroma. Geschmeidig, öliger, vollmundiger Antrunk. Im Geschmack Hefe, Honig, Marzipan und eine leichte Fruchtnote nach Mandarine. Für 8% Alk. erstaunlich süffig und kaum spritig. Durchaus gelungen.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gold, lots of bubbles, huge white head; aroma of malt, wheat, yeast; sweet, malty taste; clean; bitterer than your average strong Belgian but otherwise fairly typical and no less enjoyable for that.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle, poured into a tulip glass at home. ABV 8%
Pours a very clear, golden yellow beer, with lively, fizzy carbonation as I pour it. The result is a big, white head, soapy in texture, with average retention and light lacing around the glass.
Aroma is sweet, it brought to mind little jelly gummy bears, combined with fruity white wine.
Taste is also very fruity and champagne like, with lots of green apples, especially on the aftertaste. No sign of the 8% alcohol on the taste, instead, it is very refreshing and drinkable.
Medium thin on the body, quite carbonated and only slighty dry on the palate.
Overall interesting beer, very fruity and wine-like.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one is nice. Nice from start to end with a fine aroma (and even some taste) of peaches. Still, compared to a Duvel it is missing a lot of yeast in the aroma and is a bit low on carbo. Good one, but not very good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The bottle label is just so ugly, but therefore the beer itself looks much nicer: Deep golden colour, steady, creamy head and medium body. Nose of ripe grains. Taste of strong alcohol, white peaches, mild hops, sweet nectarines, white grapes, thyme and malt. Very easy to drink, very quaffable and with a nice and mild carbonation and intense body. But it lacks just the "wow!"-effect and therefore it is just an average BSA.
