330ml Bottle (de Garre, Brugge) - Golden with a foamy white head. Yeast, banana and malt feature in the aroma. Fruity and fairly bitter taste with notes of yeast and fruit standing out. Not bad.

inbirraveritas (1021) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 7, 2012
Fizzy carbonated opalesque golden coloured brew with sediments and a whipped creamy white head, which collapses slowly. Lemony nose and aroma escorted by honey, bread and herbs. It finishes medium to long with warming alcohol, tart citrusses and spices, which leaves a lemon-peel liked aftertaste behind. Good, enjoyable one.

bottled. sure enough, golden with a lasting white head; aroma of peach schnapps and baking bread; loads of alcohol showing with some cleaning product tang in a sharp finish; pretty poor for a strng belgian ale

Compared to the superb red I was dissapointed but that’s unfair it should be judged on it’s merits. A sound but not memorable blonde/triple ale. Considering it’s strength it lacked depth, complexity and first and foremost it lack flavour.

Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2012
Bottle: Small rocky white head, disappears quick, on top of a light hazy yellow golden colored beer. Smell grains, corn, malts, hint of candy sweets, barleys and some alcohol. Taste many grains, sharp grains, sweet grains, corn, malts, barleys, some sweets, light bitter, spicy and alcohol notes. Spicy malty aftertaste. Medium carbo, tingly sharper mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.

Pours vibrant amber with a large, lasting head. Nose shows doughy yeast, soft phenols, wheat and bready malt. Flavours are more restricted, mostly consisting of doughy characters, booze and apple notes. Quite sweet. Needs more carbonation.

Had this beer some time ago (years months), transferring data from a data base I was using to rate beer. As I drink these again I will add a complete review.

Bottle (33 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Clear golden, fizzy white head. Nice fruity aroma initially, followed by evident alcoholic notes. Meidum bodied, high carbonation. Dry with medium, slighly alcoholic, bitterness. Could have been a 4+ rating without the heavy alcoholic-ness.

Bottle at a pub in Lier, Belgium. It poured a clear pale golden liquid with a big white head. Mild smell and taste with earth, some fruit and a light malty body. Feels like the main purpose of this beer is to get drunk.
