Shared this with oldrtybastrd as many others have also been drank. Pours a hazy medium yellow with a medium head and not much lacing. There is a taste of alcohol immediately and some hops.

750ml ($8.59) Satan Red is a very good belgian strong ale. my only gripe is that the head on this tastes so good but its hard to have a pour that give you any, very little head. I really liked this beer.

30/VI/14 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ Bouvier’s place, football WC match Belgium-USA - BB: 27/IX/15 (2014-688)

Clear dark orange beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, sweet and sugary, peaches, some banana, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, bit malty, pretty oxidized, almonds, little bitter, sourish. Aftertaste: orange peel, lemon rind, bitter, very oxidized, sweet, some caramel. And this beer had still one year before expiration? Madness...

From the Bottle Shop, Brugge. Deep reddish brown in colour. Smells quite alcoholic, slightly fruity maybe with sweetness like honey? Taste is a bit forward, smashed me in the face with a fair bit of raisin and plums. Yeasty on the finish. Not sure this came together right but it’s good enough.

Mellow dark , hint of caramel and roasted coffee. Best between 18- 25 celsius. Reminds me of Duvel wraped in old chocolate paper. High five Satan!!

Cloudy dark brown color, big thick tan head with big lacing. Caramel and sweet coffee aroma, dark fruits, yeast and malts. Slightly sweet and medium bitter. Medium to full body, average carbonation. Long dry finish. Very good.
