Poured from bottle. Pours a nice gold-orange color with a creamy 1 finger white head. Aroma is a mix of spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove) along with sweetness from the butternut squash and the malt. Taste is fairly well-balanced with a mix of the spices and the sweetness. I really didn’t get a lot of the maple in the aroma or the taste, but this beer is quite tasty and drinkable.

Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light maple syrup notes, sweet malts, very sweet - candy notes, pumpkin is light, with some cinnamon. Nutmeg, cinnamon, candied maple, and some squash notes. A touch boozy, very warming.

4 oz draft pour at ChurchKey. Clear golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of maple, candy and sweet candied fruit, pumpkin, light cinnamon. Tastes of pumpkin, cinnamon, some vegetal notes, light apple and spice. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation. Nice aroma but the taste falls a bit short for me.

Bottle:   That is a definite maple syrup and butterscotch like spiciness.   A touch of mealiness like maltiness, but its minor.   Warming on the backside.   Has a touch of vanilla and spicy squash/pumpkin like pancake batter.   Fairly full bodied.   Could stand to be a bit brighter on the finish.   Tasty brew, but a bit hard to put down once its warm as it does get a bit overly sweet.   Thanks Mike!

Pours cloudy maroon. Pumpkin and spice. Pumpkin pie feel, would be good for those into this kind of thing. Tap at Black Squirrel.

Pumpkin bread aroma, no extraneous spicing, just sweet bread. Clear copper, medium head. Very bready pumpkin, light cinnamon accents. Excellent and just the right amount of sweetness. Wow, this was sucha wonderful surprise.

Bottle from a locals exchange. Clear reddish amber with a small head. Strong cinnamon and general pumpkin spice. Vanilla extract. The taste is similar. Some baked apple. Cinnamon. Pumperickel bread. Bananas fosters and brown sugar. Somewhat crisp for being so sweet. Medium body, active carbonation. Actually not bad for what it is.

Hazy amber, cheap suds and some floaties. Smell of pumpkin, maple syrup, hop, cinnamon and spice. Taste is the same and more subdued. A little sweet, mild carbonation. A poor man’s Pumking. Really nice pumpkin beer. I love that this is almost 10%. You can’t even tell.

Pours a dark hazy copper amber with a short lived medium beige head. There is an essence of pumpkin and vegetable along with some mild notes of sweet spice and maple. Taste is sweet flavors a spices and some bit of malt with some bitterness. Palate is a medium body with moderate carbonation. The finish is same as taste, a combination of sweet spices, squash pumpkin vegetable and mild bitterness on the end. A bit strong ( on the alcohol ). Malt and maple flavor is weak. Overall though just an OK brew.
