2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
$2.20 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours... ok, there are chunks in this beer. Like chunks of snot or glue. Pours a chunk dark amber with a small head. Chunks settle to the bottom. Very mild aroma. Light maple and pumpkin. Some spicing. Taste is heavy nutmeg and cinnamon, light maple, pumpkin, and copper. The chunks turned out to be not-so-well blended spices as the beer was spicier the more I drank.

Cloudy orange in color with a thin head. Very easy to drink. Super smooth with low carbonation. Light but with a rich favor. Nutmeg, maple, squash a little bit. Very balanced flavors. Not overwhelming in flavor.

Bottle. Pours a amber brown with a nice khaki head. Smells of spices and sweet tea. Lots of spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, tea leaves, allspice. Some pumpkin flavor and a little maple syrup sweetness on the front end followed by the spices. Tasty brew for the Fall.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer deep orange-reddish rusty color with a one finger fizzy cream colored head. The head fades almost instantly leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is massive of a pumpkin pie spice with tons of cinnamon, a mound of nutmeg and some clove. Along with these aromas comes a big level of sweeter caramel and brown sugar as well as would be expected for a brew with maple syrup added a big sweet maple syrup smell. Along with the sweet and spice, comes the aromas of pumpkin and squash that have been nicely roasted. Overall the aroma is quite pumpkin pie like in nature and quite delicious.
Taste – The taste begins with a massive hit of maple syrup and brown sugar with a good base of a bready malt taste mixed with a good showing of a pumpkin like flavor. The maple syrup, while strong upfront, gets even stronger as the flavors advances, with the squash initially gaining a roastiness more toward the middle of the taste. Along this time, the spices, of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, which were lighter upfront, really gain intensity to the end. While the squash flavors grow slightly more roasty toward the middle, they lose the roasted flavor, and with the increase in the sweet and the spice, end up leaving a maple syrup flavored pumpkin pie taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. For the big maple and sugary sweet pumpkin pie flavors of the brew the feel is very nice, with the creamy texture of the brew complementing nicely the dessert characteristics of the beer.
Overall – A rather nice and sweet thick and tasty pumpkin pie flavored brew with a huge maple syrup presence. While at 9.5% abv., the alcohol is barely detectable and makes for a fantastic sipping dessert brew. Definitely one to try if you get the chance.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a copper orange with a medium off-white head that left spotty lacing. Aroma of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, maple syrup and nutmeg. Flavor was sweet with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, brown sugar, and had some notes of squash.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Exactly as stated. Like IHOP and a Starbucks pumpkin latte had sex in a alcohol condom. Syrupy and pumpkin with imperial bite that is just right. Almost too sweet but it is to be expected as this is what they are going for

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, in a dark shade of copper, small head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of pumpkin and malts. Taste is sweet, maybe too sweet; pumpkin, spices, caramel and lots of booze. Interesting but again a bit too sweet for me.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Amber/dark copper with a quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma is spiced pumpkin and brown sugar. The taste adds heavy maple syrup, sweet malts, and warming booze. Low carb and rich with lingering boozey notes. Impressive brew overall but, a bit too syrupy and rich. This is a big 9.5% fall beer that seems to be exactly what it was supposed to be, but you have to be in the mood for it.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap half pint at Gilly's Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville, MD.
Hazy, dark copper-orange with a khaki head and fair lacing.
Aroma of spice cake, pumpkin pie (complete with pumpkin fruit, the traditional pile spices and whipped cream) and maple syrup.
The taste is sweet, bringing in all the cake, pie, spices and maple syrup from the aroma and adding candied yams and brown sugar.
Medium body and high/medium carbonization.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Notes from Pike, Reading, PA, Oct 26 2013. Another very sweet beer from this brewery, also very spicy with typical pumpkin beer fare. Boozy. Would like to try more from this brewery.
