12 ounce bottle. Barely translucent dark brown color. Large rocky tan head. Funky, subtle toasted malt nose has notes of cherry cola and earthy caramel. Flavor is sweet roasted malt with A touch of caramel, milk chocolate and sweet cherries. The 8% ABV is hardly noticeable. Finish is dark fruit and some resiny hops. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel makes this eminently drinkable. Overall, a pretty decent high gravity stout.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a smell that reminds me of coffee and chocolate. Appearance- A pitch black pour with a thick tannish colored head. Taste- Didnít get it, it was semi-sweet but I didnít like the mesh of flavors. The milk chocolate, cherry and beer didnít work for me Palate- A full bodied beer with moderate carbonation and a creamy texture. Overall- An average beer at best. I liked the look and aroma but the flavor wasnít for me.

ALCOHOL in the nose the brew is spirity in a beery sense and complete with a nice dark malt character paired well with chocolate, not too sweet. body of a milk stout, thin and aroma of cocoa and light fruity sense. a bit of caramel and butterscotch.

Aromas are pretty faint, subtle dark chocolate, roasted coffee, booze. Black with a mostly lasting tan head. Pretty dry, cherry notes are much more prominent in the flavor rather than the aroma, chocolate is there. Full bodied, some lingering flavors of cheap grain alcohol.

Pretty interesting. Has an odd almost perfumy aroma. Pours cloudy dark brown with OK head and lacing. Some light cherry and decent roast. Light bitter finish. Thick consistency with an almost resiny feel. Tap at glens garden market.

Dark pour from bottle. Not sure if keeping it opened for a few minutes first created a lack of even a lick of head or lace but this just looks like oil. Smell is vanilla, cocoa, cherries, oat or maybe just earth. Flavor rather the same. I think there is some bitterness to it but itís so overpowered by the sweet and malt.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours dark brown with a nice tan head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, definitely cherries and some coffee notes. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate and cherry notes, also some vanilla notes in there too. Good beer; tasty and enjoyable.

Bottle from Dad as a gift. Thanks dad! Pours dark brown to black heading into the glass with a big creamy khaki brown head. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, light coffe grinds, hint of roast, donít get much cherries. Flavor is chocolate and lactose, light roast, caramel, and some additional sweetness that I assume is some cherry, but doesnít come across as such. Medium bodied with medium plus carbonation for the style. Pretty easy drinking and pleasant. Actually significantly better than I had expected. Worth a drink.
