COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Suplex is juiced with six different hop varieties in the brew kettle and our slow, heavy weight dry-hop additions added by HopfenKubel. Hop Suplex Ale features Saucony’s widest range of hop varieties and our most complex hopping schedule. Hop Suplex weighs in at 10% ABV compliments of a hefty grain bill, but a dose of honey balances the flavor and compliments the floral and strong citrus tones of grapefruit, melon, and gooseberry provided from our favorite selection of hops

Bought this one for the amazing label. Poured a cloudy copper color with chunks floating around in it and a white head. Malty aroma with pine. Flavor starts out caramel malt with a sweet citrusy middle and finishing off with a pine bitterness.

$2.45 bottle, Wine Warehouse. Hazy amber-brown, giant beige head. Waxy white chunks pour out. Smells of pine, soap, pineapple, grapefruit, and mango. Taste... ooo... passion fruit, pine, roasted nuts, orange.

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a slight hazy amber color with a thin frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus and tropical hops, toasted malt, latex, dirty garbage. The taste is caramel malt, citrus, spicy hops. Overly bitter, astringent. Medium bodied. Train wreck.

Orange in color, lively bubbles, with a small white head that lasts. Aroma of hops, citrus, melons, and sugar. Flavor is pretty sweet with a strong alcohol burn in the finish. Also, that label art is terrible. I would have never purchased if not for the fact this was in a mixed case.

Really don’t understand the high rating, this beer is not good. Cloudy amber with nice head. Aroma- sweet flower-esque. Flavor- muddle malts and strange bitterness. Really wanted more, but very disappointing.

From growler filled at Dover Liquor Depot. Deep orange, clear, nice thick off white head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, malts and some alcohol. Taste is also fruity, sweet, bitter finish. Nice beer, very enjoyable a bit too sweet and sticky but overall quite good.

Taster on tap from a cask at Max’s. Mildly hazy orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. One of the better-looking cask ales I’ve ever seen. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, light carbonation. More dry finish. Good big chewy resiny hop character. Some grapefruit, light pine, and hop resin. Works well with the lightly caramely, biscuity malt. Cask is good for this. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, moderate sweet. Great cask DIPA. Good long resiny lightly earthy lingering hop aftertaste.
