COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Suplex Ale 10% ABV Our 10% ABV Imperial IPA brewed with honey. The pleasant orange color of this beer accompanies classic American hop aromas of pine needles and freshly sliced grapefruit. Suplex has subtle hints of honey with a mouthful of hop flavor. As this medium bodied beer warms the orange blossom honey flavors become noticeable. The beer rounds out with a warm yet pleasant bitter finish. Best served at cellar temperatures.

Very nice. Juicy hops. Tangerine pour. Grapefruit pine resin. Not too overpowering on the alcohol. Cheers!

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/22/15

Aroma: It has a strongly sweet citrus and caramel aroma, with some resiny notes
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a small beige head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: Tastes along the same lines, some sweetness, and a strong bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, with a soft to average carbonation, and a heavy dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a solid one, but not an amazing one. The hops are certainly here, but not to the extent that I wanted them to be. There’s just something that doesn’t exactly work quite right.

Bottle. Pours orange white head. Nose and taste of alcohol soaked bread, orange peel, citrus peel, earthy piney resin - medium body.

Never would have guessed the abv was 10%. Nice floral aroma and well balanced flavor. Tap at brewery.

bottle. so pumped this is back on the shelves again! pours a nice amber color. smell is not strong, but nice. taste is excellent, so smooth for a 10.0% ABV. slight citrus taste with a nice hoppy finish. this is one of the most under rated IIPAs in my opinion. definitely worth a try.

Pours a hazy orange/honey color. It has nice lacing and just minimal head retention. Tastes like hops, it is quite floral on the front end with a mild grapefruit finish. A pretty good beer, but does not taste like a 10% beer.

On nitro. Hop aromas of pine and citrus, somewhat tropical. Nicely balanced, the nitro really brings forward the malt structure. Medium bodied, creamy smooth.

On nitro at Gilly's Craft Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville, MD. Lightly hazy, amber with a large, creamy off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of pine, caramel, citrus and even more pine. Taste of pine, caramel malt, citrus and floral hops. Lots of bitter hops ,yet the malt makes its presence clear. Medium/full body and low/medium carbonization. Fizzier than you'd expect for a nitro. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice big hop taste with a sweet honey malt that raises the booze. Excellent.

Bought this one for the amazing label. Poured a cloudy copper color with chunks floating around in it and a white head. Malty aroma with pine. Flavor starts out caramel malt with a sweet citrusy middle and finishing off with a pine bitterness.
